It's an interesting read with many great suggestions, but I can't help noticing the lack of cultural lens on some of this points. For instance, rule number 8 might work great in the low-context cultures like the US, but may come across as rude (do you think your audience is stupid?) in many high-context Asian cultures. Similarly, the US audience might enjoy a talk that starts with a conclusion and build an argument on it, but this will be very confusing for most Europeans, who prefer to understand the framework first.
